A very rare and unique Lotus 12 Sakabat with possibly the oldest surviving motor that was raced by Formula One World Champion and Australian Driver Jack Brabham is going up for auction this weekend.
“There were only ever 12 Lotus 12’s built, with only seven known still remaining, 3 in the UK, 1 in Belgium, 1 in the USA and only 2 in Australia, so this car is an extremely important part of Australian Motor Racing History,” said Mr. Lee Hames, Chief Operations Officer for Lloyds Auctions.
This period correct Lotus 12 Sakabat is a credit to Graham Howard who had the foresight to re-build the vehicle of Ern Tadgell’s Lotus 12 ‘Sakabat’ after its accident in QLD in 1960.
The Dodge Charger you can buy today may be a four-door sedan, but it wasn't always like that. Dodge added an extra pair of doors when it revived the nameplate in 2006. The original Charger was a big two-door coupe, and it's now regarded as one of the most iconic muscle cars ever built.

The 1994 Ford F-250 XLT 4x4 in the photo gallery is pretty much the antithesis of the fourteenth-generation F-Series line of pickups, which has adopted coil-spring rear suspension for the Raptor and independent rear suspension for the all-electric powertrain option. Offered at no reserve with six days of bidding left, the heavy-duty truck has racked up 105,140 miles (169,206 kilometers) on the original chassis and drivetrain.
